How long does it take to hear back from first round for accelerated folks?
First rounds at Centerview are phone screens, right?

Early restructuring offers are out. We are doing M&A in waves, with a few smaller groups going this week for accelerated candidates, but the main firm process has not officially started. Plenty of spots left.

Sure thing. Program is still broadly generalist but recruiting is now done by concentrations because RX recruiting processes kick off earlier these days
Hi I'm at a West Coast target but always really wanted to go to NYC bc of the city and generalist program. There are only MP and SF offices on my school handshake. Haven't done any networking with NYC office yet, but have a solid MM incoming 25 summer in NYC. Do you think I might still have a shot?

Just curious—I'm currently in the M&A process but am also very interested in rx (unfortunately, none of my rx processes worked out). If I somehow do end up making it to CVP, would I have the opportunity to be involved with restructuring as I desire, or does being hired through the M&A concentration mean that I'm set to mainly focus on that?
You can talk to the RX folks and express interest. They’ll queue you up for more RX exposure and if you like it, you can fully switch majors (one M&A major did this last year)
Is this still the case now? Would you expect there to be multiple M&A superdays or have most spots already been filled?
