Citi GSP Finance & Securities Summer Analyst 2024

I am planning to apply to Citi's GSP Finance and Securitization summer intern role for next year. As someone with a finance background limited to reading primers (I am studying Data Sci and Math in undergrad) I was curious what application and interview tips you guys had. Any help is appreciated.

Know securitisation a lot.

Main desks are CRE Finance, Credit Financing, CLO, ABS, etc (all can be found online).

Top tier structured credit seat with established exits to liquid/structured credit investing at the top sponsors (would argue CLO Structuring & ABS have the best rep across EMEA and US).

Know your technicals regarding non-recourse vs recourse, true sale, bond math, structured finance (Gugg and others have great primers on this).

Overall top place to be if you want liquid credit exits. Otherwise, not so much.

Also, this seat sits under Markets to be honest (GSP covers F&S and Markets).
