Citi IB Virtual Internship with Inside Sherpa

Context: I am a Master's of Accounting student going to NY to intern with a Big 4 TS group. I want to do my best to keep the door to banking open (I would have tried to go straight there but only decided to pursue more finance related jobs recently). My question is this, has anyone seen the investment banking virtual internship from a company called Inside Sherpa? It is sponsored by Citi. I doubt it is an incredible value add because it is open enrollment but it is probably better than nothing. What are everyone's thoughts on the program and whether it is worth doing?

Thanks for the link, lots of good info there. I wouldn't pay for anything or spend more than a few hours on the course since there is no selection criteria. I definitely wouldn't post about it on linkedin. I am mostly wondering if it would be worth it as a learning experience and potential (however slim) networking platform.

It definitely wouldn't help, and could be even be considered a red flag imo, because there's no competitive entry and I doubt you would learn anything really useful.

At your level, some of your options include: - Work a few years at a Big 4, get an M7 MBA, apply to Associate IBD positions - Network a lot on LinkedIn, work a few years at a Big 4 on M&A deals or anything related to IB, then leverage your network to get an analyst position at an IBD boutique or MM
