Citi vs GS/Evercore/Centerview

Hi I'm an incoming sa at Citi in IB. I'm thinking of recruiting for GS/JPM/MS/EVR/PJT/CVP. Is there a difference in opportunities that will be available to me and the aforementioned banks if I stay at Citi full time? My goal is either pe firm that promotes, strategic exit (strategy/ops/bd/corpdev), startup. I don't want mf pe or anything that has a 2 and out program.

Are you an idiot? You're asking if there is a tangible difference between Citi and GS, EVR, and CVP. How did you even get an offer bro.

Nope I have not heard anything yet — I remember hr said we would find out this week though so let's see

ignore title, went through similar decision. looking back, the difference in firms is definitely substantial, but not significant enough to outweigh what you're giving up (e.g. potentially your RO if group finds out you're rerecruiting, losing RO because you're a bad intern in general because too busying rerecruiting, your network/mentorship at the existing bank etc.)
