Credit Suisse Combining LFO&R and LevFin Capital Markets – implications?

Article attached. Jeff Cohen (ex-DLJ heavy hitter) will run the combined group. Curious as to what this means for CS LevFin Origination – will it be more of a capital markets role now like JPM as opposed to the rigorously technical, execution-like role that it has historically been? I know that PE firms have historically viewed the unique dynamic dynamic of LF&R to be extremely desirable from a recruiting perspective as opposed to the more capital markets role at JPM; will this change?
