D1 Athlete Looking to Break in
I am currently a D1 athlete at a non-target and I am looking to break into IB. Has anyone had any success in leveraging their respective sport to network with other athletes? I would appreciate any input/advice.

Yah brah being a D1 athlete makes it super easy to break in
Work at a CRE debt brokerage shop like JLL. They are full of ex athletes.
find ex athletes on linkedin (preferably with similar backgrounds) and reach out to them to network
Yep. Troll through LinkedIn for guys who played your sport at other schools (you can plug in "baseball" as a keyword) and reach out. Most effective if it was a school in your conference or one you competed against. You won't have as high a yield as you would reaching out to alumni, but it's better than reaching out with absolutely no connection.
