DCF- Estimating Revenue(Sales)

Hi,

I have a quick question regarding the DCF. I understand the process, the only problem I have is that there doesn't seem to be a sure consensus on how to estimate the revenue growth rate.

Some use scenario analysis, linear regression, others use the 10-k report, sector forecast, historical rate, growth of ROC, or growth of ROE.

Is there a deadset way of how to estimate the growth rate for revenue, or is it just anyone's guess? Does anyone know of a "more accurate" way of doing it?

Thanks for your help.
