Your peers and your alumni are going to be crucial for your recruitment. Get to technical prepping hard and have conversations with a couple of older students. They will likely know from their process exactly which firms will still be recruiting. As a sophomore as well I'm aware of multiple firms that haven't even opened their applications yet and won't for a decent amount of time, definitely not too late. I'd also add that recruitment is not as structured as you might think, and some processes roll pretty late. Get on the phone with alumni ASAP and best of luck.
