Depends on what you are looking for; both are great options!

PWP: Higher $ comp, likely better average exits, focus on M&A advisory, anecdotally better “culture” as boutiques have a larger focus on analyst retention.

BofA: Diversity of exits, work on different products like financing too, strength of name outside of finance, heard culture is good here too.

Get a feel for both cultures first, but aside from that — if you are pretty set on comp and exiting to the buy-side, I’d probably rock with PWP. If ur willing to take a pay cut to potentially keep your options open down the line, I’d go with BofA.

Both have pretty strong C&R teams.

 

Congrats on your BofA offer retard. PWP is way better. It's not even close 

 

If BofA M&A / Sponsors it’s a toss up. For the coverage groups, easy PWP.
