Do background checks include transcript?

I am a junior @ a target and have accepted a summer analyst offer at a BB in the U.S. I did not include my GPA on my application or resume. To be frank, I have a bad GPA. You can shit on me, but I don't care (I've learned and have improved). I don't want to get into why I have bad grades. No one throughout the entire recruiting process asked about my GPA, and I did very well in my interviews.

I know that I will have to do pre-employment processing and a background check before the summer. There was never any mention of "transcripts" by the firm. I am very concerned that they will ask for my transcript at some point before the summer, and they will see my grades and drop me. I am hoping that I don't have to show my grades until after having done some work, to at least show that I am capable of doing the job well.

I have already networked with MDs, analysts, as well as met my own summer class. It would be both embarrassing and heartbreaking to lose this offer. I never lied on my application by the way. I don't want to lose this offer as it has taken a lot to get here and it is the key to my future.

I am posting this here because I obviously can't ask the bank and nor do I have anyone else to ask. Please help me if you can; I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much in advance!

Is it below the firm's cutoff? If it is then there's a chance they drop you, but I don't think it's very likely unless it's WAY below the cutoff (like a 2.5 when the cutoff is 3.2 vs. it being a 3.1 and just barely being under)

For reference, most firms say the cutoff is either a 3.0 or (much more likely) a 3.2. I think I've seen a couple with a 3.5 as the cutoff but that's pretty rare.

Also, you might get off with a slightly lower GPA depending on the firm's job description. Some will say "minimum preferred GPA of 3.2" which means it's not a hard cutoff.

There is usually a clause in the contract that specifies that they can cancel the contract if you dont meet a minimum requirement, but I have not seen being exercised personally (as none of my friends were below the threshold too)
