The truth is, it does not matter. You pick the bank that you would most like to work at, will give you interesting work, and is most likely to convert you. You don't pick an internship based on who pays the most. 

Would you really pick some no-name boutique that will pay you 3x overtime or whatever it is, over Guggenheim? I don't think you would, and if you would do that, then perhaps your lack of judgement excludes you from the pool of qualified candidate for investment banking.

I think he’s saying it matters so he know how to plan his budget, not that he’s not considering the offer because they don’t pay OT
