Early Careers Goldman Sachs

I’ve read a few threads on how this process has seemed to be delayed, but have not seen anything as of recent and was wondering the timeline on when you applied, when you did your HireVue, then when you were contacted for first steps. I applied to a position about 1 month ago and a received a HireVue email last Friday, I then did the interview and my status has changed to “Interview”. What are the next steps for this program and what kind of timeline should I expect?

I have a friend who completed the HireVue and her status changed to interview. But after a couple of weeks, her status changed from interview to currently not being considered. According to her, this happened to her in April

I've found this elsewhere but not with GS. Fortunately it worked for me when I applied, but this may be all to do with delays due to the current global situation.

I applied back in March. got a hirevue invite in May and status has been interview since then. no word from HR in the past 2 months.

I applied for the marketing program in NY.

anyone else?

yes I heard the same thing- it works on a rolling basis. In a pre- COVID world, there is so much movement at Goldman that there are new opportunities all the time. Given what’s going on now, who knows how long it will be!

yeah honestly know idea. I guess I am hoping that it doesn’t expire but given it’s nearly impossible to job search now, I guess I have nothing to loose but wait

Making the move out to SLC in the upcoming months for a FT Associate Position at GS. Any suggestions on apartment buildings downtown? Looking at City Creek Landing but don’t want to be stuck with all families and older people. Also, saw an earlier post about GS Bulletin (which apparently is like an internal Craigslist for Goldman), any insight on how to get access? Would appreciate any help whatsoever, have a call with the relocation advisor tomorrow that they assigned me. Feel free to comment or DM me.

Hey for the process I agree with what someone said above: you’re applying to a general role and they will contact you when there are availabilities. I believe that the hirevue is already selective and not everybody gets it. Then you’re suppose to be contacted for an interview. I have recently been contacted for an 2.25h interview without further details. Did anybody got interviews or super days at GS and is willing to share his experience please?

Hey! when was your interview/super day? Do you mind sharing your experience? I got an email saying that HR will reach out with further details about the super day but haven't heard from them yet. Would love to know about your experience!!

How was the super day structured? Mostly behavioral or any technicals? Thanks!!

I also attended the operations analyst superday on 2/25. I got a call on 3/2 about setting up a 3rd interview and had it today 3/4 with 2 higher level individuals. HAve you received an offer yet or any further communications since the superday?

Not to hijack but I got an offer for a role in Markets. Never received a comp questionnaire post superday but I did receive a questionnaire regarding stuff like having a notice period/non-compete, etc. I think since it was for an analyst role, they don’t give a shit about your expectations of comp since its fixed anyways at street level.

Also the experience will vary a lot by group. Heard of someone that received an offer 2 days after superday. My process was much longer and I had several rounds of interviews, even after the superday.

Good luck

Was there an early careers superday this week? I got an email last Friday to confirm attendance for a superday(early careers ops) this week but never got another email.

Do superdays sometimes come later than a week after the invite email?

Talent acquisition teams at all banks atm are probably swamped, just wanted to see if anyone else got an email last Friday and is still waiting
