Executives in Macquarie / Barclays?
Hi all - I heard a position with Macquarie called "Executive" - which is totally unfamiliar for me. I know other IBs use analyst ->associate ->VP/AD->Director
Do you know what this is position equivalent to?
Many thanks!
Barclays calls their associates "executives". I imagine it is the same for Macquarie.
Thanks! And after executives, it's VP?
Macquarie is strange... after exec its manager, then senior mgr, then the director titles...
Many thanks! Quite strange....how come they claim to have a "flat" structure...
Macquarie is:
2 yrs BA -> 2 yrs exec --> 2 yrs manager
Barclays does not call their associates "executives". An "executive" at Barclays is an analyst who has been at the firm for more than 1 year. And an associate who has been with the firm for more than 1 year is called a "manager". Then it goes associate director, director, MD.
it is an associate, my cousin is one at the seoul branch.
