It’s Middle market M&A so whatever MM usually exits to + a little more because of JPM name
Probably possible, but really hard. JP only sends a few analysts to those places, and among those few, vast majority are M&A/HC/M&C. JP didn't have anyone go to SL, while the people who went to the rest (very few, like 1-2 to each firm every year/every other year) were in the three aforementioned groups. I don't know about current analysts who are heading to those shops in '23 and '24, but I am just judging off the data points on LinkedIn (current first and second year associates). One recent Carlyle exit comes to mind for DI, and quick LinkedIn search yields other MF/UMM like CD&R, Advent, GTCR, but that’s about all I can find for past like 3-4 years.
