Export Finance/ECAs/Trade Finance
Hi all, looking at a potential career path starting with export and trade finance with an EU bank in the US. I have a litany of questions seeing as this wasn't on my radar until recently.
What hard skills should I have going in? What is day-to-day work like? What other sectors of credit/commercial banking are comparable? What is WLB like generally speaking? What about comp? What exit opps are there, including laterals?
Other threads are few and outdated so thought someone could shed some light on this.
