technical final round

Hey guys,

I'm a senior at college interviewing for FT roles. I just had my first final round and realized that I should have brushed up my technicals a bit more prior to this, where I may have sunked a few questions.

I do have one more interview scheduled later for the process, and I'm wondering if it'd be appropriate to ask for more technical questions to show that I do understand the technicals? I don't want to irritate the interviewer but would greatly appreciate a way to demonstrate that I do know the technicals.

don’t do this, it will be weird even if well-intentioned. Just make sure you’re prepared to nail the next interview.

They moved you on to the next round so they thought your technical skills were at least good enough, make sure you have that question solid for the next interview. I missed a technical questions in my first round and the next round (same interviewer) didn't ask it again but I got other technicals right so I got the offer (granted this was for an SA role not FT). I debated just giving him the answer to the old question at the end of the interview but it would've totally messed up the flow / rapport I was building and would come off really weird.

Nope not necessary. In my experience the final rounds tend to focus less on technicals and more on fit, especially when speaking with more senior folks. Don’t ask something like this. Be prepared to answer if asked, but more than likely it’s just going to be a behavioral focused conversation. My most recent final round was just a dinner at a high end restaurant. No questions just chatted about arts, life, and culture. Finance was not a topic at all. Just one anecdote. Best of luck man.
