FIG Corporate Banking to FIG Investment Banking - is it doable?

Hi, I would like to know whether it is possible to transfer from FIG corporate banking side to FIG investment banking side. For FIG investment bankers, I'd also like to hear your experience cooperating with corporate bankers.

I have heard that for companies which group CB and IB together as "corporate and investment bank", there's a lot of collaboration between CB and IB. What is your personal experience? Or, actually, CB/IB is pretty much separated?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Thanks for the feedback. But do you think it is possible to get some sort of exposure and skill set development of the IB side as a FIG corporate banker?
