Financial research tools - public markets

Trying to assess the best tools and cost for research & monitor of public companies?     What do you like about them?  What don't you like about them?  what are you paying?   Some of the tools I've come across are expensive.   Unless the firm is covering the cost, it's hard to justify.   Looking for near free as possible (don't have a firm to help pay for it).

I came across Gheko, that is literally the exact copy of BamSEC, but instead of $70 per month, it's free.   what else?

What tools do you prefer for financial research for public companies?

Summary

For those looking for near-free options, Google Finance and Yahoo Finance are excellent starting points. They offer quick snapshots and comprehensive tools without any cost. BamSEC is highly recommended for its efficiency and features, but it comes with a higher price tag. If cost is a major concern, exploring free alternatives like Gheko, which mimics BamSEC, could be beneficial, though its longevity is uncertain.

For more detailed financial analysis and summaries, Finviz and Seeking Alpha offer both free and premium versions, providing flexibility based on your budget.

Feel free to explore these tools and see which ones best fit your needs and budget constraints.
