FINRA and Fake ID Charge

Current sophomore recruiting for IB. So I caught a misdemeanor Fake ID charge buying alc in November 2021. Since then I’ve done pretrial diversion and the case was dismissed. It will be expunged and sealed within the next 2 weeks as well.

I read the FDIC rules and they said that if it’s been expunged then they wont care. But then with FINRA the wording has been confusing. It will show up on the back ground check since it’s an FBI fingerprint. But I’m not sure if it’s an automatic ban or if they would consider allowing me to register.

Let me know if there’s anything I can do or if I should just start recruiting for another industry.
