Florida's growing IB/PE seen
There's Raymond James in St Petes/Tampa, Deutsche Bank In Jacksonville, HIG in Miami, I know Florida is picking up steam in finance... what other big players did I miss?

Career Resources
There’s a bunch of boutiques with like 25 employees
Baird’s distribution team is in Tampa
Are you trying to recruit? I’ve seen a lot of comments about this group recently.
Indeed we are - always keeping an eye out for strong candidates!
scene*, idiot.
OP is probably a Florida State student
I genuinely cannot comprehend how one misuses "seen" for "scene", unless OP is a foreigner new to the english language
Made me laugh my ass off amidst turning comments. Thank you for the highlight of my night
Who would even MS this? Must be a sad person bc PE in florida sounds like heaven
Probably the spelling
Yeah I haven’t seen many worse title errors than right here
Heaven? The funds down there suck and it’s more expensive than you think.
also pigeonholed to LMM with incredibly limited exit ops. Not a bad move if you’re near the end of your career and thinking about retiring in the area.
sus if you’re mid 20’s or 30’s
They have sun capital in boca, a very highly regarded PE shop (AUM >6.5b)
AE industrial in Boca AUM around $5Bn
Eliot, citadel, Siris
The title bothers me so much for some reason, like how did this typo even occur
iSquared Capital, very solid large infra PE in Miami, SoftBank has a presence in MIA as well. Trivest too.
Lots of like ~25 man boutiques. As much as you see headlines about BBs fighting for space down here, the majority of FL offices are back office functions.
Exactly. I don’t see FO roles in BBs leaving SF, NYC, and Houston anytime soon.
HIG in Miami, Comvest in Palm Beach and NEP now has a Palm Beach office
Blue Sea Capital
Biggest one is Thoma Bravo down there
PE / VC / HF / AM below:
Thoma, Founders Fund, Atomic, iSquared, Comvest, Balyasny, Bayview Asset Management, Trivest, Universa, Fuel Venture Capital, Starwood
