FT lateral from LA to NYC
Have a brief question here:
I recently landed an offer at a MM bank (RBC, Guggenheim) in Los Angeles. I recruited here off a whim, and got an offer earlier than my other processes. (I come from non-target/semi-target so most of my NYC processes are just getting started). I want to be in NYC over LA, and want an opportunity at a better bank. But I absolutely do not want to leave an offer on the table.
How possible is it for me if I accept this offer to lateral full time to NYC? Is that something that’s really hard, just like other laterals, impossible?
Any help is appreciated.
Congrats on Guggenheim! (RBC doesn’t have juniors in LA)
Just giving reference on the level of bank boss 👍👍👍
