Full Time Analyst Role Eligibility

Hi all, I'm one year out of college, did my sa at a top eb but unfortunately didn't get the return and struck out ft recruiting. I ended up accepting a job at a boutique industry-specific consulting shop, where i've been working for almost the past year. Yesterday, a friend of a friend told me that a spot recently opened up at her friend's bank (bb/eb) for an incoming full time analyst position in the same industry group.

Would I even be eligible for this position since i'm a year out of college, and would I be seriously considered since I didn't get the return? I would need to start grinding techs asap if this is the case. Also for reference, I went to a good but not great school, I'd say probably low target, but that particular bank has a lot of alums from my school. plz let me know what you think.
