georgetown clubs

Currently a student at georgetown deciding between zeeba and gusif. Is there a huge difference between the two. Zeeba has a more rigorous education program and had better placements last spring but gusif is older and bigger alumni network. Better clout too it seems.

Will make zero difference recruiting wise. Pick whichever one seems more interesting to you and has people you get along with better. Zeeba is focused on international equities, gusif is divided between traditional coverage groups

While clubs are not essential for successfully recruiting for finance, it is pretty tough to make a case for picking Zeeba over GUSIF. The alumni network at GUSIF is far stronger and the placements are better. GUSIF has exclusive events with Blackstone, GS, Evercore.. list goes on. Zeeba has come up a lot recently but nobody turns down GUSIF.

If all you care about is recruiting and Zeeba is a newer club with better (or even equal) placements, it makes no sense not to pick Zeeba. However, at the end of the day, you should also care about the people in the org

didnt mean to come off as egotistical or anything. i am aware that first rounds just wrapped up I was referencing the situation that I actually ended up getting into gusif because that would be a difficult choice. all love man
