German M&A Professional
Hello everyone,
I am a German native with a MBA and a MS in Finance from an U.S. university. Furthermore, I have a couple of years experience in M&A and I am sitting for the CFA® exams. I am also in the process of getting a permanent working permission.
I am looking for a job in the M&A industry and I am curious if someone knows if there is a demand for German speaking M&A professionals in the U.S.? Does anyone know a Investment Bank that does a lot of transactions with Europe or Germany?
If you have any other thoughts, please feel free to post them.

most european investment banks do M&A for european companies.....why would a US investment bank, with offices in Europe, do M&A from the NY office?
Personal business keeping you in US? You'd be much better of in London with those stats..
My "personal business" is about 5'3 ft. tall and has a female name. ;-) I am just curious, if there are any IBs out there (...also considering boutiques), which have a need for analysts with an European background. I know of one IB and I can imagine there are more.
Lemme guess, is the one IB Deutsche Bank? Just kidding...
if you went to a good US MBA/MSF you should try and use their OCR instead of targeting places with desire for people with a german background...
when you get interviews the places which have need for people with a german background will standout...
not in the US, your only bet is Europe. Tell you "5 foot 3" business interest that she needs to move to London, so you can work for CS, JPM, GS, Rothschild etc...
And what if 5' 3 is a star banker at GS in NY?
