Getting a masters in Finance
Hey everyone, is there any benefit of getting my masters in finance, I’d like to go into banking or hedge funds and wouldn’t mind getting a masters but I want to know if it’s worth the work.

I wasn’t asking for an example regarding my background though, I just want to hear from people about their experience and how it’s benefited them or not.
Ignore the title above, I landed IB from an MSF. According to your past posts, it looks like you’re a freshman at non-target. If I was you, I’d focus on getting boutique internships early on and work your way up the chain. Why bother with an MSF program if you can land a solid FT job in four years? MSF programs (particularly Vanderbilt, Wash U, etc.) are a good spring board into banking but only work if you have a unique story or experience in the first place.
Boutique IB/PE -> IB SA -> FT IB is a more ideal path and doable in your position.
