Getting to Institutional Sales from Investment Banking

Currently a junior at a non-target university. I have an investment banking summer analyst position from last summer. Currently pursuing investment banking summer analyst positions for next summer.
I'm coming to realize that I like sales due to its interpersonal nature, and am seriously considering abandoning banking to go in to sales.
Any advice on how to get into sales from a banking background?
My current plan is to take a summer analyst position in investment banking with a bulge bracket for next summer, get a full time offer....then somehow move into institutional sales.
