Global Markets Superday - what to expect

Couldn't find a lot of info about this on here or reddit so I thought I'd start a thread - question is as title suggests

Should one be prepared for both ECM and DCM questions? What if the interviewers are all in one group, say DCM, even though the program is rotational? What kind of technicals to expect? How much behavioral vs. fit? Are there ECM/DCM specific guides available? What else to expect (other than, say, general market and macroeconomic conditions)? Are you expected to know about other markets and to what degree (general understanding or detailed) - eg. LatAm?

How long does it take to hear back? How many people usually get offers after?

Thanks for any insight!

You still have to know everything in the WSO technical interview guide. There may be particular focus on stock pitches for ECM and understanding bonds and bond market for DCM. I'd know a lot about inflation and the FED. You need to know all six ways the FED controls interest rates and be able to discuss the various inflation metrics etc. You also want to know the difference between best efforts and bought deals and know some recent transactions. Would be good to understand SPACs, reverse mergers, and direct listings as well. They will definitely still hit you with the standard IB questions pertaining to accounting, valuation, and cash flow

Hearing back time frame can vary, though will usually be soon after the superday is over (hours or a couple days for their top choices). I don't think you'll need to know a lot about LatAm.
