Goldman Sachs Hirevue
Just did the GS hirevue for the SA position. 1st question was walk me through your resume… the easiest question of them all. Anyways, I completely choked it, was pretty bad lmao. I did really well in the other technical and behavioural questions however. My question: do you think me choking the first question rules me out? Or am I getting too worked up about it in my head? Also, can we all take a moment to appreciate how terrible online automated interviews are.
Cheers guys.
There were technical questions in the hirevue ??
Yes
London?
Nah, Sydney, Australia
Oh ok
I think you’ll be fine, it’s your overall hirevue that counts
What do you mean by it was bad ? You didn’t know anything ?
No, I just slipped up on my words. I was expecting a question more like why GS or why IB, so when they asked me to walk them through my resume it was a bit of a curveball. After that question I composed myself and did pretty well I thought
Yeah it’s fine it’s the first question they’ll put it on stress, if you did well after you saved it it’s fine
Hi, I just received my HireVue interview invitation and had a quick question. Does the platform provide a practice option before starting the actual interview? The button in my email says "Start Interview or Practice," but it feels a bit confusing—it seems like it might go straight to the interview. When I clicked the button, it took me to a video accommodation page and then showed a "Continue" button, which made me nervous about proceeding. Could you clarify how this works? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
