GPA Hit during Recruiting

Hi Guys, I came into recruiting with a 3.8 but my GPA is looking like it's going to take a .3-.4 hit during this recruiting season, mostly because of a really tough weeder class. Was wondering if this would pop up on HR's radar during the background check, as of now I had adjusted the GPA on my resume to a 3.7 to account for a drop but it seems like it'll be a little worse. I also transferred to this school so my GPA is pretty volatile right now. (have not incorporated my last school GPA into this school's GPA). I've had some offers come my way and am looking to secure a couple more so I'm hoping to sign before the summer. Thanks again for all the help.

.3-.4 hit like 3.4/3.5? That is a huge drop for someone with a few semesters of credits, is there any way to retake the class for a better grade?

It should not affect background check/any offers you already have, although I would not adjust your GPA down either. As long as your 3.8 was current when they gave you an offer you won't have issues. They generally want you to maintain your GPA above a 3.5, but it's not a dealbreaker if it was clearly just one class.

Sign ASAP before your GPA goes down though.
