GHL RX still has a strong rep and placements are decent so would give them the edge over the lower tier BB and EB like PWP and Gugg if you are optimizing for PE exits and are only looking at the GHL RX team (not M&A)

honestly this doesn't tell the full story, doubt anyone is taking a jeff/ducera over cvp/moe/gugg. as long as augustine has a pulse and is calling ppl to get his juniors placed it's still going to be better exits wise than what dealflow suggests. still would suggest taking EB M&A over it in most cases

This is debatable. MOE LA / SF / NY (specific groups) and CVP are universally better for exits especially if you’re looking for tech. MF exits are not uncommon out of those shops, wouldn’t lose sleep accepting any of those over GHL RX if you’re looking for MF / UMM. Agree on Jeff and others, no doubt GHL RX>

my bad, meant to say taking jeff and to a lesser extent ducera for culture over the other 3 for rx specifically

The only EB that you would consider GHL RX over is PWP, and this is still debatable. However, taking GHL RX over any of the non-GS/MS/JPM BB would make the most sense for maximizing PE exits.

PWP exits are very mediocre to be fair. Sure, some might get MF/UMM but it's far less consisent compared to GHL RX that has less variations across its exits. PWP is still a great bank though so wouldn't split hairs here.
