Greentech / Cleantech Investment Banking Groups
Hi everyone,
I'm currently doing corporate finance & consulting work in the renewables/energy transition space. I'm enjoying it, but want to assess options regarding investment banking in the greentech/cleantech sector (preferring to exclude project finance/wind/solar/asset-sale IB groups). To me, the leader in this sector would be Nomura Greentech, but wanted a couple of options other than them. According to you all, who are the best sell-side/capital raising IB groups for companies in the greentech/cleantech space? Any insights are appreciated.
Jefferies has a strong team, Guggenheim isn’t bad but they got poached by Jefferies, Moelis is M&A focused but still clean tech, and that’s the main comps
