GS Healthcare in 2024?
Curious how GS HC stacks up to other BBs/EBs nowadays. What verticals are they strongest in? Previous threads show a big walkout a couple years ago due to terrible culture, does anyone know if that's still the case? Also curious about exits.
Great dealflow but culture is not the best. A bit of a sweatshop, though not as bad as industrials, for example. Also, seems to hire too many useless diversity kids and useless MBA associates who are really not up to the job. Not sure what they're doing at a dealflow heavy group like GS HC
seconding this, way too many incompetent diversity folks
Appreciate the insight. Any idea what verticals they perform well in? I assume they probably lose out on a lot of pharma/biotech deals to Centerview, but what about stuff like services, HCIT, medtech etc?
.
Relatively weak in EMEA, not a lot of deal flow but team is quite small (20-30)
A little confused by this, you mean to say the SF healthcare group focuses mostly on EMEA deals despite being based in the US?
No, London + Milan office
