GS Investment Research vs Lehman Start Capital Markets
I'm not really sure what I want to do yet. I was wondering which would offer better exit opportunities after my summer internship.

I don't understand why everyone has such a dim view on research. Post spitzer things have changed, but its still a lucrative/exciting area.
To the OP the answer to your question is dependent on what your goals are post internship. Your question is vague.
Actually, it's investment banking but I didn't receive any decent offers this year, and ultimately I plan on doing corporate law. I hope that clears up any confusion.
If you want to do research, you can also do it at START. Lehman's research is top-notch, better historically than Goldman's, but unlike GIR you'll have the opportunity to meet traders as well. In terms of keeping options open, START is a better bet. Donno how difficult it would be to get into I-banking, it depends on how good u can tailor your story.
