GS LevFin Info

Could anyone provide any information on LevFin at GS (i.e. modeling, hours, exit opps, etc.). Is it worth pursuing LevFin over the coverage groups in classic as an SA? I know M&A is done within Classic at GS, so from this standpoint, is classic superior from an experience (and prestige) stand point?

Hey hjb68, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

More suggestions...

Hope that helps.

Like most LevFin teams, you will do Cash Flow modeling but you won't be building the operating model. Most likely you will receive the full-built operating model, your job is to run downward case scenarios.

Together with JPM and BNP probably the best LevFin houses, GS more or less solely do sponsor-led financing which is more fun. If you want to do PE in the long-term, pick classic. Exits are good, but more to credit funds
