GS Possibilities Summit - Early Possibilities Track

Hi everyone - really hoping someone can offer any insight they might have on this. Just participated in the GS Possibilities Summit and got notified that I had been selected for the Early Possibilities (EP) track. Does anyone on here have experience with it? How soon after you submit your application through EP did you get a HireVue/Superday back? Did you receive an offer much earlier than the regular recruiting cycle? Anything is helpful, thank you so much!!!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the Goldman Sachs Possibilities Summit is an event that provides insights and networking opportunities for those interested in careers at Goldman Sachs. If you've been selected for the Early Possibilities track, that's a great sign! Here's what you might expect based on previous threads and discussions:

  • HireVue Interviews: Typically, after being selected for the Early Possibilities track, candidates may receive a HireVue interview invitation. The timeline for this can vary, but it's often within a few weeks of being notified about your selection for the EP track.

  • Superday Interviews: If you perform well in the HireVue, the next step could be a Superday, which is a series of back-to-back interviews conducted over a single day. The timing for Superdays can also vary, but they usually follow shortly after the HireVue interviews.

  • Expedited Recruiting Cycle: Being part of the Early Possibilities track may indeed mean that you'll go through the recruiting process earlier than the regular cycle. This could potentially lead to receiving an offer earlier as well, giving you a head start compared to other candidates.

  • Offers: Offers can come out relatively quickly after Superdays, sometimes within a few days to a week, depending on the firm's timeline and the number of candidates they are processing.

Remember, these are general insights, and the actual timeline can vary based on a number of factors, including the specific division you're applying to and the overall recruiting strategy of Goldman Sachs in a given year. It's always a good idea to stay proactive, follow up politely if necessary, and continue preparing for each stage of the interview process. Good luck!

Fellow 2024 GS PS participant. When networking with some professionals, they said its about a 70% success rate to make it to the SD. It is then like a networking event with multiple desks that basically have a bid day like in Greek life. you then interview with those teams that you connect with and walk out with an offer or two and decide.

Thanks for the insight - is it a 70% rate from hirevue to super day? That means there’s around 700 ppl who get super days? Seems a bit high imo. Do you know if they do first or second rounds after the hirevue?

Not sure tbh. I thought 70% was high as well but I am just relaying information passed on to me. I think it gets slimmed down before the Hirevue due to missing the deadline or people not completing the program etc. Assuming there aren't true first rounds, as in like your in the office already lol, but not sure what to expect on that front though.
