Some analysts and I were recently laid off from a MM/Lower BB. Was thinking of joining a boutique to keep my resume gap as small as possible. From here, I'd spend time trying to lateral back ASAP into an MM/Lower BB position. Is this realistic? How long should I stay at said boutique? Has anyone done this before?
