Sales and trading at a boutique IB within Vault's top 25 vs. equity research for a large buy-side firm (not a HF though).
Discuss pros/cons and implications for my career? I have at least another summer to go, so either would look good on my resume. I may want to do HF or PE long term but trading might be really cool too, and I don't know yet whether I'd like it.

it's impossible to answer that question. if you want to know who gets paid more, s&t does.
do the S&T gig, then try to lever it to a top 5 BB s&T FT position
