Help Finding New Jobs - 1st Year Planning on Quitting

I have now seen a few forums around 1st year analysts quitting and I myself have weighed the pros and cons and have decided that I am not going to stay at my BB for 2 years and want out ASAP for obvious reasons and other reasons I won't get into.

For the people that have been looking to quit or have already quit, what were the best resources you used to find another job? I have been using mainly Linkedin, Indeed and just basic Google searches, but am running into the issue of only finding jobs where they take people with 2+ years of experience. I am mainly looking at startups, corpdev/strategy roles at tech or consumer (services & goods) firms. How were you able to find roles that fit your skillset and criteria (recent grad 6 months into banking)?

Thanks in advance.

Was a first-year analyst at a mid-tier BB in NYC (non-Tech, industry group). I couldn't even wait for the stub bonus to hit and having lost my mental health, I quitted a couple of weeks ago without having anything lined up.  Honestly, enjoying this small break I am having rn and utilizing it as a good time to talk with family & friends, reach out to my network and think of my next career move. I have been cold applying online postings on linkedin and indeed; however, I haven't heard back yet as the recruitment processes of these firms are very slow and can even take a couple of weeks to hear back. I have observed that networking is quite important for corporate jobs as well. Have a look through your linkedin contacts to see the places and roles they are working in and schedule some calls to learn more. This is very difficult to do when you're working 100+ hours a day, so if you've made your decision go ahead bite the bullet and give in your 2 weeks notice and quickly get going with networking. Also, they would be very willing to refer you internally, since most corporations have referral programs where your friend would get up to a couple of thousand dollars if you land the role. Feel free to PM if you want to talk more. All the best in your job search!
