Houston Summer Recruiting Already Over?
Seen a lot of people accept offers already for banks in Houston but haven't even had first rounds myself. At a semi target as well.

Are they diversity offers? Those tend to go out earlier than generalist offers
Yes and no. Seen some diversity offers posted on LinkedIn but have also seen the other half be non diversity offers for RBC, Piper, moelis, and now jpmorgan.
From what I’ve heard Piper, RBC, GS, Moelis, Gugg, WF are completely done. Some others sent out offers but might do another round of recruiting.
Was the timeline just pushed ahead super far this year? Also is it too late to network with the other banks coming from a semi target?
I thought GS was doing insight candidates then regular?
Their insight day was last Friday and their superday was this week’s Monday or Tuesday. They tried to keep it lowkey. They’re not gonna have regular apps.
Yeah most banks are already done, and 1st rounds with the rest of the banks are being released in the next few weeks
That's weird. Jefferies is hosting an info session at my school in late March for Houston. I assumed other schools would follow that timeline but I guess this year was crazy.
JEF has filled up more than half the class.
jeff did round of spd i think 2 weeks ago, got another batch (regular pool spd) in the coming weeks
Upperclassman at target semi-plugged into recruiting this year. Some banks have finished/are very close to filling their classes, but there are still some very strong banks just getting started (Citi, Evercore). I think BofA is still recruiting too. Also heard Truist will be recruiting into late February/March.
