How can I go from a BO summer analyst at a BB to a role in investment banking? (F, non-target)

So I attend a non-target public school in NY, and managed to land a business analyst role for the summer at a lower-tier BB (NY), but still would really love to break into IB FT. I know this type of question has been asked here before, but I am more specifically trying to go from a summer internship to a ft ib role, even though my internship isnt in IB. Is this possible given the current hiring state of finance?

For reference, Im a F, 3.5+ gpa, and applied math and econ double major with previous internship experience and good leadership experience with my ECs. Also, I know this site is invesment banking or bust, but it was hard enough to land any type of role at a bank given my school so pls be gentle, and thank you sm if you do comment. :)
