Personally I miss the old WSO shit posts about RBC, DB and BAML as there was more variety, however I appreciate these things come and go in cycles and you need to be patient.
People commenting here are either former UBS employees on what is frankly pretty great severance or current UBS employees in toxic groups that need a place to vent, as they often cannot in their own toxic groups. The juniors in any top group at UBS are getting ground down way too much to ever get on here. I would know, as a former senior at the firm, that there's a lot of deal flow, and ironically, not enough juniors in those groups. With that being said, a lot of what people complain about here are just factually true/backed by data, and it's also very true vast majority of UBS America's just suck.
Met one dude who was trying to preach to me that UBS nyc is the best on the street and of course when I asked him where he was interning, he said UBS (big surprise!!!!). Anyways I’m def not the kind to compare finance dick sizes so inside I was like lol wait till he discovers Wall Street oasis lmaooooo
Agree. The UBS posts are funny but I miss the days with more variety, aka ripping on DB for not being a real BB and trashing BofA for paying like shit and the EGRC “knuckleheads”
You aren’t thinking long term enough. They may be negative NPV now but I think we need to give it another 5 years so they could be even more negative. Well at least it will help stimulate the economy when they all buy their fancy mansions on their extra generous guarantees
For real, all the AI memes that got deleted were hilarious. I came back to this thread to show my friend and all the memes were gone. Such a disappointment.
By the way, @WallStreetOasis.com ? My "friend" is Warren Buffett and he wanted to invest billions into the site. Not so smart now, huh Patrick?

If things were going well people wouldn’t be complaining

Classic intern behavior
Too real
UBS looking at WSO like …
Go on…
.
Would you still go to UBs
.
Poor dude, was just trying to get himself and his buddies paid
This is UBS oasis
If prospects/interns still want to work at UBS despite all the red flags, that’s on them. I wouldn’t wish this shit on my worst enemy.

we got gtm before gta6
Some hilarious memes here. But seriously, can we please get rid of Little Marco and his negative NPV minions?
Sergio, wake up!

0.25x MOIC is too high… should be 0.01x
