How do you Manage your Networking Effort?

I'm curious to know how undergraduate and MBA students manage their IB networking efforts? With several different firms, several different bankers at these firms, and different interactions yielding different levels of success, how do you keep it all straight? Do you use a giant spreadsheet to track different interactions? What level of detail do you track? Do you keep notes about the conversations you had and what you talked about or simply who you talked to and who you should talk to next?

Further, is there any software or tools that you utilize that might be helpful for others to know about?
