how fucked am i?

current freshman at NU that'll prolly end freshman year with a 3.7 flat, 3.65 ish worst case 3.8 best case (not too realistic.) i know experience  matters more than gpa so im working a vc fund this summer, and hopefully an internhsip fall quarter for cfs. i am not in any of the finance clubs and frats. i know peo;le say 3.7 is alright, but i was wondering if that completely closes doors for hedge fund, megafund private equity, and big private credit funds ( ares, bain cap). at this point im worried that ill prolly struggle to even get into jefferies which i dont mind but i feel bad since my parents work their ass off to send me here. be brutally honest i want ro maximize my chances. (i understand that EBs and RX roles are pretty much closed for me, still want to try for BB)

Such an overplayed narrative 3.5 is the cutoff to get looks, 3.7+ and you can land virtually anywhere with the proper social skills and experience. For reference had a friend just land PE with a 3.5 from a semi, additionally had a 3.8 and landed 10+ interviews bb + eb + UMM.
