How likely is it FT offers get pulled

Asked a question on a finance subreddit regarding my personal finances and I got a barrage of messages telling me not to count my eggs before they hatch re: signing bonus and salary as my offer could be pulled and there have been countless previous cases of that happening.

The thing is on reddit it could be anybody working from KPMG Audit to some Graduate Scheme for a ShitCo on £28K.

How common is it for FT offers to be rescinded for headcount reasons or financial reasons for the bank. This is a top BB and I can't imagine its a good look rescinded FT offers

Mind you this is a good market and I received a FT offer after the summer so they must have planned in advance for headcount. Not taking into account me passing background checks because I think thats a given considering I already passed once. Does my exam performance on CISI/FINRA or whatever matter?

Sorry if this sounds neurotic, but these people on Reddit really got me thinking something I believed to be p(x) = 1 is not actually that dead certain
