How much of your role could Chatgpt do?

I think as a A1 it could do roughly 50-75% of my responsibilities. My bank doesn’t have a strict wfh policy so I’ve been used it a ton recently especially for idea generation. Once it can relay real time market data and source I’m finished

I find it nearly useless. It's not creating verbiage that makes this job take so long, it's simply that whatever verbiage you do create will be iterated on and presented 20 different times by/to 5 different people. So sure, I could use it to draft up bullet points for a CIM. But it would take me longer to feed the application enough contextual data about the business to get it to the point where it could spit me out bullet points about the company than it would take me to just write my own bullets. At that point you're basically just relying on AI to paraphrase info you've already made the effort to consolidate and feed into it. Moreover, once ChatGPT spits me out my bullets, I'm still going to sit on a Zoom meeting for 45 minutes with some boomer while he reviews and obsesses over minute verbiage.
