How to deal with an asshole boss?

2 months ago I started my first job out of school in S&T. My boss joined the same week I did after getting cut from a BB. He’s sharp as anything, but very narcissistic and full of himself. Always brags about his days at said BB and Lehman/Bear Sterns and talks about himself non stop. There isn't an associate or VP on my team so it's just me and my ED.The products we traffic in are complex and it has been a steep learning curve for me. I've been making mistakes in my work that are mostly related to me not understanding the technicalities of the derivatives we work on. I joined off-cycle and not part of any analyst class so no proper training. It is made worse by the fact that my boss has no care to teach or mentor me. When I make mistakes, he berates and yells at. Sometimes I'll ask him questions and he'll laugh at me or give me a "Did you really just ask me that?" type look. I have been studying multiple nights a week to understand things more and make less mistakes, but I usually pull 12-14 hour days and am exhausted after work.Really not sure what to do. I'm too new to lateral but would not rule it out. I could try to move to another group on my desk, but not sure how to even go about this. I have considered trying to write down every mistake I make to try to get a sense of where I can improve the best.
