How to network at virtual roadshow?

I am currently doing an internship at a large asset manager, and part of my job involves attending roadshows, now conducting virtually, hosted by investment banks for their underwritten offerings. There's an upcoming roadshow organized by a BB I would like to work at in the future, what's the best way to go about networking with them, given I won't be able to talk to them individually since it's a virtual presentation, so I can land an internship with them in the future?

I would really appreciate any advice! Thanks!

Wouldn't suggest networking at a virtual roadshow - comes off as unprofessional and completely out of line (the purpose of the roadshow isn't to facilitate your own career advancement). Best practice would be to take the outreach offline and dropped the bankers a note saying, "Attended your roadshow, interested in learning more about what you do and what a career in IB entails..."

My manager told me roadshows were a great opportunity for interns to network with other buyside and sellside folks pre-covid, but like you said, it's probably hard to do so without looking unprofessional in a virtual environment where everyone can see you. Would you recommend talking about that deal or avoid talking about it if I'm relatively new to the sector, given I don't know as much as I would like to sound very knowledgeable on the topic, in my offline reach out to them? Or on another note, is there a way to look up what deals an individual or a team has worked on? I have access to Bloomberg. Thanks!
