Anyone have info on HPS pay, career prospects, and culture currently? I know they have different pockets of capital including Core Senior Lending, Specialty Lending, Strategic Investment Partners, High Grade, Public Credit, Special Sits, RE, Asset Based Finance. If anyone can provide thoughts on each team.

I used to work at HPS and covered their ABF and RE teams. The ABF was relatively small but is ambitious with what they’re trying to build. The RE team was petty new when I started. They had their first deals in 2021 and nearly half of them went into default. I think their coverage expanded significantly following their partnership with Guardian.
