DB super day?
Where is it?
keep calm, be honest in your answers, hold back information they dont need to know, take 5 seconds before answering every question, and be likeable. Final round, they know you can do the job, they want to know who they work with.
UBS?
Be confident, as though you already have a pocket full of offers (but don't lie about offers).
Actually I would do a lot of research on the firm, its background, culture, positioning in the industry, what makes it unique, etc.
I got rejected from a lot of (not that prestigious) places this recruiting season, and then got an offer from a more selective BB because I had really great "why bank X" answers.
This. I think coming up with a logical reason why you prefer a certain bank over others is a big advantage in interviews that often gets overlooked in favor of cramming for technical questions.
My advice is to do your best to turn the interview into a conversation between you and your interviewers. As soon as they ask if you have any questions for them that's your cue to spend the rest of the interview asking them about their groups, why they chose the firm, etc... People love to talk about themselves.
Be sure to say that bank is your top choice and you would be thrilled to come work with them this summer. That was the last thing that I said after each of my interviews and it seemed to received well.
Wait, so you guys don't use the "because of the culture" response to "why bank X"?
Tips to kill an interview:
1.) Like stated, make it a conversation. 2.) Don't let him/her control the flow. 3.) Penetrate with questions if there is any silence at all. 4.) Smile. Magic fingers.
