IBD recruitment in 2021

Hey guys

I am an incoming MBA student at a top 5 global B school this year to get into IBD from tech. I am thinking of deferring MBA to next year as I believe with no signs of vaccine till spring 2021 , banking recruitment would be severely affected (not to forget the recession valley we all would be at that time). I wanted a sanity check on that? personally I am in a very stable job in healthcare so I don’t want to loose that for 120k pound mba that burdens me in student loan and poor job prospect unlike most people in my cohort who say it’s all fine- most of them have already left their jobs and don’t give a fuck. Forgive me if I sound too economical but I refuse to follow the crowd.
Thanks!
